Trials & Tribulations; One Man's Journey to Get a Seat Aboard That Train!

I bet that may have gotten your attention… But I didn’t want to make a pre-mature  post about this.. and I still don’t know just how permanent it will be… but I’d like to share with you that I have been made the Graveyard Shift Charge Hand.. where I work.

I have been at A.I. Ind. since May 2006 and have learned a lot of different things and how they run their operations.  This position is special for me since I have just completed my apprenticeship just last April 2008. I have full control of the shift and make all decisions pertaining to who does what and setting up the next day shifts priorities. While it is a new position for me I hope to grow in my position and get more involved with the company’s day to day planning. Wish me luck in continuing with success, I may need just a little bit from everyone.

** On a side note my wife and I are doing great.  She and I have started on a strict regiment of healthy eating.  She has helped my mother, father, herself and I, lose inches and ponds off since about mid August 2009. I am happy to report I have lost about 25 lbs and many inches.. my wife has lost 15 pounds and even more inches.. **

Wow! An update and a good one at that. Congrats on the promotion! Maybe in your next blog post, you can post a before/after pic so we can see how slim you’ve become.

Let me first to say “How Lovely”! I hope the diet and the healthier lifestyle goes well. To lose additional calories, perhaps you can teach the whole family your “Roof is on Fire” dance.
